In Spain its usual that bars serve small portions of food tapa's with a drink.This can be olives , tortilla,chorizo...
You probably wonder where the tradition comes from, well a long time ago people put a small plate on their glass of wine (tinto) or beer (cerbeza) to keep the flies away .Tapar means to cover. And than the barman put some olives,... on the plate.
Spanish people realy love to go eat some tapa's ir de tapeo!
I like to go with my family eating tapa's I especialy like: aceitunas, jamón and queso.
