SEMANA SANTA
Next week we don’t have to go to school
because there is Semana Santa. 
During Semana Santa or Holy week, we celebrate the Passion of Christ. It’s a catholic tradition.
So next week in whole Spain and especially in Andalusia there will be processions in the streets. People carry statues of Saints, for example Jesus but also the Virgin,… The processions begin with the Domingo de Ramos (Palm Sunday) and end with Lunes de Pascua (Easter or Paschal Monday).
And of course I’m going to see the processions in my village, Cañada del Rabadan.
